My friend told me about the cycling routes with numbers. The first time I tried, I failed. I didn’t understand the working of the routes, and I didn’t know where to start. He helped me out to go on a bike tour with me. Just a little one, because my stamina was terrible. After 2 kilometers, I was as red as a tomato. <\/p>
I started to bike more often after this tour; I even began to like it as I became fitter and better. I took my daughter along on a scavenger hunt, finding all the numbers. The surprises on the tour were playing at a water playground and eating icecreams in Delft.<\/p>
Because I became better and the summer holiday was about to start, my psychical therapist advised me to go on a cycling holiday. Good for me and also for my daughter after a difficult period. <\/p>
I had never been on a cycling holiday. So I had to make a lot of preparations, which my friend helped me with. The day before our holiday we had a little accident. We went to the water playground. On the way, we made a stop. A lady who hadn’t see us drove with full speed on the back of my daughter. Because of my injured leg, I wasn’t able to move quickly enough to help her. She had many scratches, bruises, and a bleeding wound on her ankle.<\/p>
She didn’t want to go on holiday by bike anymore. When I made arrangements to go to Duinrell, she changed her mind. This was one of her great wishes. I thought a holiday close near home would be an escape if one of us didn’t manage the tour. It was also an opportunity to get home instantly.
