Underneath, I’m wearing my support stocking. As you can see, it’s only visible on the brighter side of my pantyhose. The support stocking I’m wearing, bought in Spain, comprises 93% polyamide, 7% elastane, and silicon. It’s a thin, type 2, long support stocking, held up with a silicon band. The brand is Farmalastic.<\/p>
After I visited the vascular specialist, I realized I had something special to talk about. The first thing she said to me was: ” You are the woman that had a DVT three times.” Because I wanted to get back my mental health, I thought about starting a blog about stockings. This blog message was the first I wrote for www.daphneinstockings.com. It took me a lot of work because of my lack of concentration, but I managed eventually. I had to be persistent. After a while, I decided to write about all the things that had happened in 2020. <\/p>
I was able to do so because I made pictures and notes about everything; conversations, appointments, phone calls, preparations, visits, etc. I even kept all medical stuff like injections because I thought it proved my illness that I needed to show my supervisor later.<\/p>
During the writing process, I was amazed by all the things that had happened in ten months. By making this blog, I gave all the negative things that had happened a place, so I don’t need to keep them in my mind and on different notes anymore.
