I adore green veggies, but they influence my meds. They contain vitamin K, which interferes with the anticoagulant effect. So I couldn&#8217;t eat those veggies every day anymore. Veggies that contain vitamin K and are decreasing the absorption interfering with the anticoagulant effect are; broccoli, lettuce, turnip, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, spinach, and other cruciferous vegetables. Green tea also contains a high amount of vitamin K.<br>Some foods increase the anticoagulant effect: Granbarry juice, grapefruit juice, alcohol, garlic. They increase the bleeding risk.<\/p><p>The golden rule in this is to maintain a stable diet and take my daily dose of acenocoumarol at the same time every day.<\/p><p>Still tired, my sister told me about the effect of chickpeas. Maybe if I could increase my iron intake, I would be less tired. So she gave me a recipe for Hummus. I enjoyed my home-made hummus. I also took one of my favorite beers with this meal. Too bad they use this name also for Covid-19. <\/p><p>Now I make Hummus about once a month.
