As fun is fundamental in staying positive, I started a new month and a new hobby. Or maybe a very old one. I loved to go out and rollerskate when I was a child, the age my daughter is now. <\/p>
During a previous walk with my daughter, she tried to rollerskate. She finds it difficult to find balance on wheels. Although we had a lot of fun, she felt lonely by doing it alone. Loneliness has been a big theme in the past months because I’m resting a lot and sometimes too tired to undertake activities. As I mentioned before, her life changed drastically as well.<\/p>
So I ordered rollerskates to join her. They were delivered during the week what gave me the ability to try out first. During my first (and only) kilometer, I had to stop at least ten times to catch my breath. I was coughing to get more air, my chest was in pain, and my heart rate rose fast. I was so proud I tried. It made me smile!<\/p>
On the weekend, we went outside, both on wheels. My friend came along and helped my daughter rollerskating. I was fine with my own inabilities because rollerskating less than one kilometer would be fine for my daughter as well.
