Thrilled I was to get my pantyhose from Juzo. I was happy with the pain relief and edema reduction, my first pair of Juzo knee stockings brought me. So I was expecting the pantyhose would relieve me from all the swelling and edema. I swopped the pantyhose for the stockings, so the Epilennium could send them back to Juzo to get them adjusted.<\/p>
They were so tight I had trouble bending my knees. Because I thought I needed to adjust to the pantyhose and stretch more after wearing, I went biking. Exercising is where I needed this pantyhose the most because it should prevent my belly from swelling. After less than one kilometer, I wanted to stop because of the pain in my kneeholes, but because I thought I needed to stretch the pantyhose, I went through biking. <\/p>
I was happy when I got home from a bike ride from less than 12 kilometers. I immediately got out of them and lay down with my legs up. What a pain in my leg and the back of both of my knees! <\/p>
I started to wear the pantyhose less and lay down with my legs up the rest of the time. A few days after the bike ride, I went out for a walk with my old stockings from Farmalastic. I couldn’t handle the pain in the back of my knees and went back home after 0,5 kilometers with my old stockings. That evening I started to get hurt in my lymph knops.<\/p>
This couldn’t be good. This felt so bad because I don’t want to get another DVT by wearing something so tight that it is pinching off. After several discussions, a man from Juzo is visiting me soon to see what is wrong. I really had to fight for it. This man will also bring the adjusted stockings. I’m happy he’s going to visit me at home because traveling all the way to Rotterdam and back takes so much from the little energy I have right now. <\/p>
It makes me sad that I can’t do much about my health right now. Biking was what gave me more stamina during in summer. And not having suitable support stockings makes it impossible for me to get on a bike free from pain. My last ride outside, to hold on to what I had built so far, was on painkillers, on old years day. That ride, I noticed my stamina was much weaker than it was before; I biked fewer kilometers and at a slower speed.
